Reports about the introduction of restrictions in Russia in the amount of 50 thousand rubles for cash withdrawals at ATMs from September 1 are another myth. This is stated in the answers to subscribers ' questions in the Telegram channel of the Central Bank.
The regulator explained that on April 1, a law was adopted obliging banks to carry out anti-fraud measures, that is, to combat money laundering, when issuing cash through ATMs.
